QuikEyes, an affordable, easy to use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management system for eyecare practices and is now available online on a subscription basis.

QuikEyes Online is an Ocular Medical Record Developed by Dr. Matt Lowenstein O.D., the online version represents the third product release of QuikEyes since 2004. Dr. Lowenstein states "the national push to electronic medical records combined with the maturity of Software as a Service technology created the opportunity to re-architect the product into a Software as a Service (SaaS) offering".

The QuikEyes online product includes core features of printable spec/contact/medical Rx's, patient record document attachments, customizable exams, external and internal eye exam graphics drawing tool, efficient examination entry, printable doctor's fee statements (Receipts) and HCFA form printing. From an information technology perspective, all is needed to use QuikEyes Online is basic office computers and broadband internet access. All other Information Technology requirements are included in the subscription fee of the Software as a Service offering. This includes nightly, secure, off-site, HIPAA complaint, multi-Location backup and storage of patient Data.

QuikEyes Online, a Rich Internet Application (RIA), is developed in leading edge Software as a Service technology including Microsoft Silverlight and the .Net application framework.
